In 2020, my fellow artist and good friend, Val, asked for my help to paint a mural that she was commissioned to do in Chinatown, San Francisco. I didn’t do much more than lend some moral support and help put the beginning coats on the background. But that experience sparked a conversation about joining our artistic talents to pursue other public art projects together. What began as a simple favor evolved into the creative collective, DESIGN GIRL MAGIC. As a team, our mission is to take part in meaningful projects that promote awareness, insight change, encourage interaction and involvement, and spark creativity. We are making a difference and making our world more beautiful — one project at a time.
